My first project!!

My "Go-Go Garter Stich" Scarf made from the pattern in the "Stitch and Bitch" book. Made with 3 colours of the same wool, olive green, forest green and midnight purple. My very first knitting project and I'm thrilled with it. Looking forward to modelling it when the weather turns colder.

Its been a while

So what have been up to? or should that be what are my excuses for not posting?

Well I was layed up for 3 months with Bursitis in my hip, after alot of pain, tears, injections, xrays and a few kilos later I'm back on my feet and ready to face the world and the gym again!

I've become very good friends with someone who has introduced me to the world of knitting and crochet. A trip to Amazon, the wool shop and I'm re-learning what I can accomplish with my needles and a little help from my friend.

I've also said goodbye to friends who have moved on from this part of the expat world. I will miss them hugely but will stay in touch!

Not much else to say really, better get on with my scarf of it won't be done by winter!
