Well my little 3 year old artist (in the photo) loves painting especially at school and I'm failling over her colourful masterpeices so I'm trying to find ways of using therm so they don't just go in recycling after their turn on the fridge.

Wrapping paper: as its Daddy's birthday my artist and I have warpped up his new camera lense in one of her paintings. So far it hasn't cracked or flaked and is looking good.

Here is my go at the new moon alice gloves pictured in one of the press release photos. The orriginal had green running through the wool as well but simular colours were lacking over here so I settled for blues, I love them!!

My 6 year old son has his first wobbly tooth so in readiness of the tooth fairy's arrival i made him a pillow with a pocket on the back to look after his tooth when it falls out. He loves it!

A dear friend is expecting her 4th child and I wanted to make her something that she didn't already have for the new baby. She suggested a small car seat sized blanket so here it is... in unisex colours although I do know the flavour my lips are sealed!!

Its week 30 and I'm 4 books behind... not good, will try and catch up soon before term starts. Also knitting again and have just finished a belt and started a tea cocy for a friend as an appology for forgetting to post something to her.... I hope she likes it.

Its been along time... life has taken hold so here is a quick catch up of the books I've read so far...

8. Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts: I can't put this one down at all, Loved it!

9. The Wise Woman by Philippa Gregory: Its been reccomended by a friend, Wise Woman was ok, it basicall seemed like a rewrite of The other Boleyn Girl with different names and no kings.

10: Wolf Brother by Michelle Paver: Good quick read, its a short book and it was lovely story.

11. The Hallows By Nora Roberts:- Second on of the trilogy and i loved that its from a different character's persective... great read, in lesss than a day!

12. The Pagan Stone By Nora Roberts:- Brillaint Trilogy.... Loves every second!

13. The Memory Game by Nicci French: This was ok, a bit bland to be honest.

I know they don't count officially but this is also what I'm reading ....

January's books:

1. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (Audio Book): Still listening to this in the car and at the gym mainly. Hope this counts as one of my 50!

2. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer: Loved rereading the series again, totally engrossed into the world of Forks and the Cullens. Dreaming, Day Dreaming, throuoghly enjoying it.

3. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer: Probably my least favourite of the series, don't know why it just doesn't have that suspence like the others, maybe its bacause they aren't any relationship changes between Edward and Bella in this book.

4. Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer: On the last few chapters of this one now, flying through it as R has been away and I'm not good at sleeping alone so I read till the wee hours and normally fall asleep with the book on my face. Will probably finish this tonight.

5. The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling: Read this in one evening, reminded me of the first two Harry Potter style and Audience level. Dumbledore's comments made me chuckle though. R kept asking me what I was laughing at.

6. The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory: I love this book and wanted to re-read it before I saw the film. The book is miles better than the film and they miss out vital information and add daft parts to the movie. Can't find my copy of this book so will keep my eyes open at local book sales for a copy to keep.
